Provitas® AA500SD is a uniform water-soluble powder, which is light yellow in color with a bland odor and taste. The active ingredient, retinyl acetate is homogenized with modified food starch and maltodextrin and dried to a uniform powder. BHT is added as a preservative and silicon dioxide is added at <2% for flowability. AA500SD is food grade and is intended for use as a source of vitamin A fortification.
