White Crystalline powder USP / NF / FCC, Odourless and colourless. Extremely quick to dissolve in water. Slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol and acetic acid.
The sweetness is equivalent to 60% of sucrose. Best used as nutritive sweetener. Often used in diet foods, mints, syrups, and sugar-free chewing gum.
