Toasted Hulled Hempseeds are small creamy nuts with a light toasted, nutty flavor. This superfood has one of the highest EFA profiles of Omega 3 & 6, GLA and SDA. Hempseed's also have an array of vitamins and minerals including phosphorus, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, and folate, plus dietary fiber. Three tablespoons of hulled hempseed provides 10 grams of protein, contains zero-trans fats and is free from gluten, cholesterol, lactose, and sodium.
Some Uses for Hempseed are: topping, baking, blends for mixes, nut-free butters, non-dairy beverages, snacks, ice creams, meat alternatives, array of food-bars, desserts, prepared / frozen, base for tofu, granola or muesli recipes, dips and pastes.
