Lemon EO 100% Organic is a cold pressed essential oil which is extracted from the outer part of the bergamot rind. Most of this citrus fruit is produced in Sicily, around the towns of Palermo, Messina, Syracuse and Acireale. The fruits coexist with flowers on the same tree, and these trees are small and thorny trees, as they generally range from 3-5m high. Harvest begins in winter, around November, when the rind of the fruit turns yellow under the effect of the cold, and continues until May. The plants yield 350g of essential oil for 100kg of fruit.
