Organic Hempseed Oil by HPS

Hempseed Oil is a translucent, semi-opaque, light green vegetable oil, that has a slightly nutty flavor. Best used under low temperatures as a cool culinary oil when cooking, similar to olive oil, not exceeding 250 °F to maintain the fragile EFA composition. This is a functional culinary oil used as an edible ingredient, for table and cold oil blends.

This oil has one of the highest essential fatty acid (EFA) profiles with Omega 6 (Linoleic Acid (LA)) & Omega 3 (Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA)) in an optimal 3:1 ratio, while also containing Omega 9 (Oleic Acid). It is naturally high in Vitamin E tocopherols and is antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. Also, it has skin regenerative and cardio protective attributes. Hempseed and its oil, is the only edible culinary grain that contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and Stearidonic Acid (SDA) that are direct metabolites of Omega-6 and 3; which are key for our bodies for auto-immune and anti-inflammatory functions. It contains the key essential fatty acids that are necessary for a healthy cell membrane structure. This oil is low in saturated fats and is free of trans-fats, with low levels of carbohydrates and sugar content.
