Obtained by obtained by hydro-distillation of fresh or dry ginger used whole or crushed. Originating from India and Tropical Asia, the plant gets about 4 foot tall with leaves about 3/4" wide and 7" long. The harvest period depends on where the plant is grown, but usually yield 1.5-3 kilos per 100 kilograms of plant using hydro-distillation.
