Product Overview
Maca (scientific name: Lepidium meyenii Walp.) (Spanish: Maca). It is a cruciferous plant native to the Andes mountains of South America. Oval leaves, rootstock shaped like a small round radish, edible, is a pure natural food, rich in nutrition, known as "South American ginseng". Maca's hypocotyl may be gold or yellowish, red, purple, blue, black, or green. Pale yellow roots are the most common and have the best shape and taste. Maca is rich in high units of nutrients and has a nourishing and strong effect on the body.
Maca is native to high-altitude mountainous areas, and is suitable for growing in the land with high altitude, low latitude, high temperature difference between day and night, slightly acidic sandy loam and full of sunshine. It is distributed in the Andes mountains of South America, artificially planted in central and southern Peru, Yunnan and Xinjiang of China and other regions, with a large area of suitable planting land.
