Hulled Hempseed's are small creamy nuts with little green specks and a light nutty flavor. Hempseed's are nutrient-dense, highly digestible, and are an exceptional quality of vegan protein. This superfood, has one of the highest EFA profiles of Omega 3 & 6, GLA, and SDA. Hempseed's also have an array of vitamins and minerals including phosphorus, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6 and folate, plus dietary fiber. Three tablespoons of hulled hempseed provide 10 grams of protein, contains zero trans fats and is free from gluten, cholesterol, lactose and sodium.
Some Uses for Hempseed are topping, baking, blends for mixes, nut-free butters, non-dairy beverages, snacks, ice creams, meat alternatives, array of food-bars, desserts, prepared / frozen, base for tofu, granola or muesli recipes, dips, and pastes.
