Product Overview
Allicin is an organic sulfur compound extracted from the bulbs of allium sativum (Allium sativum) in allium family. Its scientific name is diallyl thiosulfonic ester, and its chemical formula is C6H10OS2.
Allicin has a strong antibacterial effect. It can inhibit a variety of Gram-positive coccus and gram-negative bacillus at very low concentration. It also has an inhibitory effect on molds, viruses, protozoa and pinworms. It has obvious inhibitory effect on escherichia coli and dysentery bacillus. In agriculture it is used as an insecticide and fungicide, and also used in feed, food, medicine.
